About Me
Michelle Dahl, PMHNP-BC
My Approach
As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) I diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions. My approach is to work with you as a partner in your treatment. I have found the most success in working with people who are fully engaged and invested in their care. I will work with you to determine a treatment plan that is specific for you. While medication can be a very helpful tool, the goal is the least amount of medication necessary to treat symptoms. Often medication alone is not going to provide the treatment outcomes people are looking for. This is where therapy, healthy lifestyle choices, stress management skills, spiritual practices, etc. can be helpful supplements.
I enjoy working with all individual, including LGBTQQIP2SAA, non-binary and non-conforming individuals. Independent of race, ethnicity, spiritual practices, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, political views and abilities—I acknowledge and honor the fundamental value and dignity of all individuals.
